Aquest és un fragment d'una de les conferències matrimonials que Mark Gungor fa als seus seminaris anuals "Ríanse hacia un matrimonio mejor". Amb aquesta "Historia de dos cerebros - cerebro masculino, cerebro femenino" veiem com Mark il·lustra d'una manera molt còmica algunes grans veritats... Potser és cert que homes i dones som molt diferents!!

This is a fragment of a conference Mark Gungor gave at one of his annual seminars "Laugh your way to a better marriage". With this "Story of two brains: men's brains, women's brains", he very comically illustrates the differences between the female kind of thinking, and the male kind. Maybe it's true that we are way too different... Hope you like it!!

Feia temps que buscava aquesta cançó, però no recordava de qui era, ni sabia el seu nom. Avui m'he topat amb ella sense esperar-m'ho, quina sorpresa! No sé què té aquesta cançó... que és tan perfecte.

I had been looking for this song for a long time, but I did not know who was singing it, nor its name. Today I came across this music by chance, what an unexpected surprise! I don't exactly know what's going on here... that is so perfect to me. The video is subtitled in Spanish language.

No volia posar aquesta altra "versió" de la cançó aquí, per no espatllar la primera... però al final ho faré. És tan horrible i surrealista que m'he partit de riure, no té pèrdua! Sobretot el noi de dalt a l'esquerra, és boníssim.

I did not want to post this other video of the song here as well, because I did not want to spoil the magic of the first one but... I will finally post it. This is so terrible and surrealistic that I couldn't help bursting into laughter!

Què Són Els Ordinadors? / What Are Computers?

Últimament estic intentant entendre els ordinadors. Però... què són "els ordinadors"? Uns éssers d'un altre planeta que només entenen zeros i uns (com es pot comunicar algú amb zeros i uns?), que sempre van acompanyats d'uns traductors misteriosos que es fan dir sistemes operatius (que pel que sembla parlen diversos idiomes artificials amb regles sintàctiques i semàntiques, i llavors ho tradueixen tot a pals i rodones perquè l'ordinador els comprengui), i que gràcies a un tal Codi Font que composa els programes, acaben fent el que tu vols! Bé, a vegades... I el nucli? Què és el nucli? ;-)

I am trying to understand computers these days. I have to admit that I have the certain feeling I am not succeeding at all with my mission. The fact is, what are computers? Kind of super-natural-extra-terrestrial entities that communicate with zeros and ones? Of course they are always accompanied by some sort of mysterious translators named operating systems, which speak several artificial languages composed by syntactic and semanthic rules, and which have the complicated commitment to transform all the incomings into zeros and ones, so that the computer understands, finally. And then Mr. Source Code appears, takes part in the programs, and the tiny little thing ends up doing what you want - well, sometimes. I am sorry but I could only find a funny video in Spanish language.
